ICOE OEE 2026: Bringing the Global Ocean Energy Community Together in The Hague

ICOE OEE 2026: Bringing the Global Ocean Energy Community Together in The Hague

From 5–7 October, Ocean Energy Europe (OEE) and the Dutch Energy from Water Association (EWA) are joining forces to host ICOE OEE 2026, the leading international event dedicated to ocean energy. For three days, The Hague becomes a meeting place for the people shaping the future of ocean energy. The global ocean energy community will gather at Amare, The Hague, bringing together industry leaders, researchers, policymakers, investors and innovators to discuss the latest developments shaping the future of ocean energy.

With 60+ exhibitors, 150+ speakers, 30+ sessions, seven side events, networking opportunities and technical visits, there is plenty to discover.

As Peter Scheijgrond, Chairman of EWA, puts it:

“This event provides a unique opportunity to showcase Dutch ocean energy sector innovations, research and testing facilities, and offshore and maritime capabilities to a global audience.”

Some of the most exciting work in ocean energy happens behind the scenes. Side events offer a unique opportunity to step behind the scenes, see innovation up close and meet the people making it happen.

As part of the programme, Bluespring is organising two site events offering a closer look at Dutch innovation and expertise in sustainable ocean energy:

The ocean energy experience doesn’t start at ICOE OEE there’s more to discover.

Blue Week  complements ICOE OEE by bringing the ocean energy story beyond the conference and into the city. While the conference brings the international ocean energy community together, Blue Week opens the conversation to a wider audience, making ocean innovation visible, relatable and inspiring.

From 3–10 October, Blue Week brings exhibitions, stories and experiences across The Hague, with selected activities continuing through October. It explores how developments at sea connect to our coasts, ports, cities and everyday lives — and how the sea can help shape a cleaner, more sustainable future.

Blue Week is organised by Bluespring on behalf of the Municipality of The Hague. Discover the full programme and find out what’s happening near you on the website.
