Connecting the dots & making waves

Campus@Sea community

Being part of our community immediately puts you in contact with all the relevant parties involved in the developments on the North Sea with respect to the food, energy and climate transition. You have access to lectures, meetings, events and funding for innovation projects. You can get advice and coaching from experienced entrepreneurs and participate in incubator & accelerator programmes which we offer together with ImpactCity.

And last but not least, business accommodation is available to rent in the port of Scheveningen. Are you looking for office accommodation with or without workplace and/or quayside space, an independent workplace and do you want something temporary or permanent? We have an overview of the available space and can put you in touch with those offering it.

Sten Swanenburg, Co-founder of Dutch Wave Power: Thanks to the network of Campus@Sea, we were able to speed up the development and growth of Dutch Wave Power. Through Campus@Sea, we came into contact with various financiers and were given access to various subsidy options. A hugely valuable for us as a start-up.

Allard van Hoeken, Founder and CEO of Oceans of Energy: Campus@Sea ensured that we could establish our business in the port of Scheveningen. For us, the possibility to have direct access to the sea from our premises is invaluable. And it means that our business can grow even faster in the coming years.

Niels van Campen, Business Development Consultant SafeTrx: I once got into problems at sea, about 2 km off the coast. After being rescued by another surfer, I decided to look for something which would ensure you were found at sea and rescued. With the help of the Field Lab in the North Sea project, SafeTRX developed a watch with tracker which a surfer in distress can use to alert the coastguard.
