16 December: DronePort Connects @ Campus@Sea

We’re very pleased to invite you to this year’s last edition of DronePort Connects, taking place on:

📆: Tuesday, 16 December 2025
📍: Campus@Sea in The Hague.
⏱️: 15:00 – 18:00 CET

This session will explore the theme:
Maritime Autonomy: From Subsea to Space

👉 You can register here.

Developments in maritime autonomy are accelerating. Systems that once operated separately, subsea sensors, autonomous and crewed vessels, drones in coastal airspace and satellite-based monitoring, are becoming increasingly interconnected. Together, they form a layered environment that requires careful coordination of technology, policy and operations to keep Europe’s maritime infrastructure secure, resilient and future-ready.

To support this transition, collaboration between regions, sectors and disciplines is becoming more important. Understanding how these systems interact and how we can align infrastructure, regulation and innovation is key to moving forward.

DronePort Connects x Campus@Sea – Maritime Autonomy: From Subsea to Space brings organisations from government, industry and research together to explore how the Netherlands can strengthen its approach to this cross-domain field. This edition reflects the growing cooperation between DronePort Rotterdam and Campus@Sea, linking port and coastal environments as places where new concepts can be tested, improved in practice, and scaled.

During the programme, we will look at:

We welcome you for an afternoon of perspectives, practical examples and constructive dialogue, followed by a networking moment overlooking the North Sea.

Campus@Sea is a field lab and innovation hub in the harbour of Scheveningen where companies, researchers and governments collaborate to accelerate offshore innovations. It operates the Maritime Testing Ground, a 10 x 10 Nm open-sea zone off the coast of Scheveningen. This unique test zone drives the development of offshore energy, nature, food and safety and security solutions by providing space, data and controlled acces at sea.

DronePort Connects brings together partners, selected industry innovators, defense bodies and experts, port authority, and public stakeholders. Together, we’ll explore how autonomous and uncrewed systems (AUS), secure communications, AI, and advanced sensing are being deployed in operational environments to strengthen strategic resilience and protect critical infrastructure.

We look forward to welcoming you on the 16 December!
